I have once written "I sometimes see unbelievable sports articles in Korea". But I have encountered the most unbelievable article which I have ever seen. More precisely, this article appeared not in Korean newspaper, but in Taiwan's newspaper(Web version). This article reported what has happened kids baseball tournament in Korea. The kids were disappointed and abandoned to keep playing a game. They planned 20 days' expedition, and their parents spent 30,000 Taiwanese dollars for each kid, which was heavy burden. This site have talked that not a few Korean people have different sports culture from other nation's people. Frankly speaking, I doubt they are lack of fair play spirit or sportsmanship. I described this with much surprise and some contempt. There were no words such as "ashamed " or "feel shame" in these people. This is true for kumdo problem. Then I said that their society as a whole seemed to approve such shameful activities which were done in the name of "nationalism". I also said that the persons who raised objections were ejected from their society. Shameless parents raise only shameless children. It is obvious that their unique sports culture will be passed to their children very well.
